National and Alamo has an exciting opportunity for a Tire Inspection Technician at the Orlando Airport . The Tire Inspection Technician is responsible for checking the vehicle being moved into the ready garages. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. The Tire Inspection Technician works outside spends the shift in all weather conditions. The position requires lage amounts of bending and walking.

This position is a full-time (40 hour/week) position at the Orlando Airport. Apart from religious observation, candidates must be available to work at least one of the following schedules, including holidays:

Shift #1: Wed - Fri: 1pm-9pm, Sat/Sun: 3pm-11pm, Mon/Tue: OFF

Shift #2: Thu/Fri: 3pm-11pm, Sat/Sun: 4pm-12am, Mon: 3pm-11pm, Tue/Wed: OFF

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the overall safety and security of the employees, vehicles, lot and equipment.

  • Check all 4 tires on every unit at the QTA that is being cleaned or dirty for tread depth and condition

  • Maintain a log of all units flagged for tire repair and turn in all administrative paperwork each shift to the proper administrative manager.

  • Perform all other related work as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D required.

  • Must have at least 6 months of related work experience.

  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.

  • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.

  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

  • Must be willing to accept a starting pay of $9.00/hour.

  • Must be willing to work at the Orlando Airport.
