The Service Agent (Car Washer) prepares and services vehicles prior to rental including:refueling, cleaning and washing, checking fluids and pressure levels of all vehicles. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.\n\nThis is a 120 day TEMPORARY Position\nResponsibilities:\n\n* \nInspect vehicle to ensure safety equipment is in working order; lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors and back-up lights.\n* \nInspect vehicles for unidentified body damage.\n* \nClean all exterior and interior windows and mirrors and vacuum interior, floor, seats, ashtray and trunk.\n* \nProvide positive customer service, including greetings, assistance with luggage and personal belongings, where applicable.\n* \nPlace items found in vehicles in lost and found. Direct drivers to drop off locations as necessary.\n* \nDrive the vehicle from drop off point to service area; drive vehicle through car wash and to ready line as necessary.\n* \nRefuel the vehicle and log identification number with fuel needed and mileage.\n* \nEnsure that the key tag is properly marked with the correct VIN or Unit number and license plate number.\n* \nMaintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.\n* \nComplete the out-of-service tag and ensure the vehicle is moved to the maintenance area. \n* \nIdentify and pull the vehicles that are eligible for turnback, flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location.\nQualifications:\n\n* \nMust be at least 18 years of age.\n* \nMust have a current and valid driver's license withno more than 1 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years\n* \nNo drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)\n* \nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship by our company now or in the future\n* \nMust be willing to accept $9.00 per hour\n* \n\nMust be willing to start employment in the beginning of May until August\n* \nApart from religious observations,Must have open availability to work 40 hours a week including evenings, overnight and weekends\nApply for this job:\n\n* Apply for this job online</font color=\"#008000\">We are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.", "date_new": "2012-04-06 02:59:23", "url": "http://jobs.nationalcar.com/xml/27684844/job", "country": "United States", "company": "National Car Rental/Alamo Rent A Car", "title": "TEMPORARY FT Service Agent (Car Washer)- National- Newark Airport", "reqid": "2012-58060", "state": "New Jersey", "state_short": "NJ", "location": "Newark, NJ", "uid": 27684844}]
