Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the wants and needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. \n\nThis position is responsible for providing superior, friendly, efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process as well as assist all customers with the rental return process. The Return / Handheld position will provide professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service while accurately completing all transactions.\nResponsibilities:\n\n* Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue as they arrive on the lot.\n* Remind customer to check for personal belongings. Identify any items found in the vehicle with a unit number, date, time and turn into lost and found.\n* Advise and review rental charges; and provide an accurate receipt to the customer.\n* Provide information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport terminal. Thank customers using the prescribed dialogue.\n* Complete return transactions with 100% accuracy.\n* Inquire about service, satisfaction and document dissatisfaction.\n* Discreetly check vehicle for damage on incoming vehicles and direct customer to counter for completion of damage/loss report.\n* Use of proper statement to determine if vehicle is being returned with full tank of gas.\n* Complete a service alert for any mechanical and or body damage communicated by the customers.\n* Identify vehicles, which are on system hold for turnback, time or mileage, recall, or any other special lock and verify their movement to the proper lot location.\n* Identify and tag vehicles that have been flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location.\n* Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow.\n* Management reserves the right to modify, change or delete duties assigned.\nQualifications:\n\n* \nMust be at least 18 years of age.\n* \nMust have basic computer skills\n* Must be able to work outdoors (parking lot and garage) in the elements with long periods of standing\n* Must have either a High School Diploma or GED\n* Must have a valid driver's license that has not been active for at least one year (without being suspended or revoked)\n* Must not have had more than 1 moving violation or at fault accident in the last 3 years\n* Must not have had and DWI's or DUI's in the last 5 years\n* Must not have been convicted of a job related felony in the last 7 years.\n* Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship from our company.\n* Must have at least 6 months of customer service experience in the last 5 years.\n* Must be able to work the following schedule:\n* Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12pm-8pm\n\nApply for this job:\n\n* Apply for this job online</font color=\"#008000\">We are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.", "date_new": "2011-12-07 20:30:43", "url": "http://jobs.nationalcar.com/xml/25236516/job", "country": "United States", "company": "National Car Rental/Alamo Rent A Car", "title": "Return Agent / Handheld Agent-Boston Logan Airport", "reqid": "2011-51204", "state": "Massachusetts", "state_short": "MA", "location": "East Boston, MA", "uid": 25236516}]
